09 Aug Surprise! We’re Going Back!
The Stiner’s Are Going Back to Cambodia!
We are over the moon excited to be able to officially tell you that we are returning to Cambodia this Fall. After lots of prayer and careful consideration, we truly feel this is what God is asking us to do.
In December of 2020, we left Cambodia and moved back to the USA, without any plan or idea of what we would be doing next. Due to unforseen and heart-breaking circumstances within the organization in Cambodia, we had to leave. It was one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make, but we knew it was what was best for us in that time. We moved home to Indiana, not knowing if we would ever return to Cambodia. So we spent the first few months of this year just processing everything we had been through, getting poured into, and just really seeking God about what was next for us. We started serving in our local church and leading a weekly soaking and prayer night, and we honestly just started to feel content with where God had us. We didn’t have any plans, we still had no idea what was next, but our hearts through this entire process have been that God would just use us where ever He had us.
Then, just as we were starting to feel settled and content with where we were, we received a call from the Board of Directors of the organization we previously served with, The Mission Worldwide. They asked us if we would be willing to return to Cambodia to be the in country Directors, and serve on the leadership team for The Mission Worldwide. We of course took some time to pray and consider this offer but after a short time we knew in our minds and spirit it was a resounding YES!
We feel like we have a million things to do before we leave Indiana, and we are just trusting God to help us in our preparations and help us to leave well. We have already begun working remotely, so much of our time is spent in zoom meetings and administration work. On top of that we have to get new visas approved. With the current situation globally due to Covid, you can imagine how difficult this process can be. We are trying to schedule catch-ups, coffee dates, meals, etc. with as many friends and family as we can before we leave. If you would like to catch up, or if you would like to hear more about what we will be doing, shoot us an email at belovedministriesglobal.org or send one of us a message. We would love to see you!
Last but most certainly not least, we have a large amount of support to raise. Currently, we are about 1/3 (30%) funded on a monthly basis. In order for us to live in Cambodia, we need more monthly partners. We would love to share more about this with you if you are interested. Or if you feel you would like to partner with us and the work that we are doing in Cambodia, you can give by check, PayPal or on our website.

Questions you may have…
Does Iris Cambodia still exist? Well, due to the circumstances of what happened with the previous leadership, Iris Global decided to dissolve Iris Cambodia for the time being. With that said, The Mission Worldwide is still in close partnership with Iris Global and we have hopes that there will one day be an Iris Cambodia again. Iris Global is in full support of us returning to Cambodia to serve with TMW and we are still considered ‘Iris Missionaries’.
How does BeLoved Ministries Global fit into this? BMG is a tax deductible non-profit that we setup in the USA to support ministry and missionaries both domestically and abroad. This is what sponsors and supports us living in Cambodia and enables us to do the work we do. As BMG grows, and as the Lord leads, our goal is to start our own overseas mission in another Asian country, with our own team of missionaries and nationals. This is a long-term future dream, but something we are preparing for and working towards. Long story short, BMG is our sending and sponsoring organization that enables us to live in Cambodia to serve in ministry under The Mission Worldwide.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this and for all your love and support through the years.
Please pray for us…
- That our Visas will go through quickly and smoothly
- That we would be 100% fully funded on a monthly basis before we leave in September/October
- That Covid restrictions would begin to lift in Cambodia
- And most importantly for the protection and rescue of those most vulnerable that we work with in Cambodia
With Love, Mitchell & Jillian Stiner
