27 Jan We’re Back!
Hi friends and family! We are so excited to give you an update on life, what went on this past season as well as what this new season we are stepping into looks like for us.
First, we would like to apologize for not updating you the past few months, but we have taken some much needed personal time to spend with family back home. As many of you know, when we went back to the States in September we found out Jill’s dad has been diagnosed with cancer. After finding out that news we decided to stay in Indiana through the holidays to honor our families and spend that much needed time with them. Jill’s dad has been in treatment for a few months now and had a CT scan to check on his progress and the “terminal, incurable cancer” has shrunk significantly but we are still praying and believing for complete healing! After hearing this news, and seeing the progress Jill’s dad has made, and how great his quality of life is, we truly felt peace about going back to Cambodia… so HERE WE ARE! Just 3 short weeks after deciding to come back, we are ecstatic to say we are now in Cambodia! The Lord’s favor and provision has been overwhelming the past few weeks. We would like to thank all of you that we got to see and connect with while we were back in the States and we are forever grateful for your prayers and support through this season.
We are really excited for this next season in Cambodia. There are some big changes happening here in the next few months, which we will tell you more about in future updates. For now, we will be resuming hospitality for the Phnom Penh team, continuing to go to the Railway and Riverfront communities working with children and families, resuming language lessons, and a few other exciting things we have planned that we will go into more detail another time.
For now, we would truly appreciate your prayers for our team finances, as well as our personal finances. This seems to be truly a season of stretching and learning to trust God in an even deeper way, which is both exciting and a little scary at times. Also, please be praying for our children and families, for them to come to know the Lord, and for us to know how God wants us to love and reach out to them both spiritually and in tangible ways.
If you feel led to give please email us with any questions about details at jillianstiner@gmail.com or if you would like to give to our ministry you may go to the giving page on our website at https://www.belovedministriesglobal.org/give/. All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you for your time, your love, and your support!
We love you all!!
Jillian & Mitch
